A. There is no minimum duration of stay for Working Holiday Canada, but the maximum duration is 12 months. Each participant can only participate in the program once. 
A. The types of jobs available are dependent on participant’s experience, skills and level of expertise. Most participants will be working in industries such as tourism, hospitality, retail and food & beverage.
A. Yes, your program fee covers Speedwing’s services to you in Singapore and Malaysia and the Canadian program facilitator’s services and support while in Canada. Please contact us for more information.
A. As an Au Pair, you will be taking care of your host family’s child/children, which is your main job responsibility. Your job scope involves but is not limited to preparing them for school, preparing their meals, sending them to school or activities they participate in, playing with them, teaching them schoolwork if necessary, etc. You will have to do ONLY those light house chores that revolves around children like laundry (into washing machine and dryer), making and tidying up their bed, and cooking if necessary.
A. The Internship USA program runs all year.
A. Depending on your au pair qualifications, it can take anywhere from three to eight weeks for you to be matched with a family. Once you are matched, you and your host family will agree on a US arrival date. You will have a minimum of four weeks after being matched in order to prepare for your arrival.
A. Participant must be a Singapore or Malaysia citizen. Participants must be 18 to 35 years old. Participant must be a full-time student or have graduated. Participant must have minimum funds of CAD$2,500 (approximately S$3,000). Show proof of return air ticket or onwards ticket leaving Canada at the end of the program.
A. Yes and no. Most of the positions are paid. The amount varies widely, depending on location, arrangements with employer; type of work and past work experience (if applicable). Some positions can be unpaid and participants may be compensated in the form of food and boarding.
A. Positions are available all over Canada, although the more popular cities are Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal.
A. No. There will be many qualified host families in the AuPairCare au pair networks for you to select and interview with during the matching process.
